Nick on Eminem blog: I Don’t Take Back, Jack!

Nearly two weeks ago, Nick Cannon posted a rant about Eminem on his personal blog in response to the rapper’s new song, “Bagpipes from Baghdad,” which targeted him and his wife, Mariah Carey (the feud generated a big reaction from EW.com readers). He quickly deleted the rather long post that accused Eminem of being both racially insensitive and “still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from 8 years ago.” The controversy continues, however, as Nick Cannon talked to EW yesterday about the fracas.
“I felt like I said what I had to say,” Cannon says. “I didn’t take [the post] down, like, Oh, somebody instructed me to do it or anything like that. It was just one of those things, like, I said it.”
But why? Cannon claims all the traffic to the post “pretty much crashed my site. There’d be thousands and thousands of comments and people couldn’t leave comments on other posts or any of that stuff. So that was the only reason why I took it down.”
Cannon says he doesn’t have any regrets about what he said. “I feel exactly the same way by it and stick by everything, but I think it’s one of those things where it becomes that it’s not really that big of a deal, you know?”
Continuing on about his wife, Cannon added, “I feel that my relationship with my wife is one of the best things — or the best thing — that’s ever happened to me, and it has nothing to do with celebrity or this industry. It’s all about, you know, just love and finding love and being happy and respecting the union that it is.”
The big question: Is Nick Cannon’s beef with Eminem over, then? “I never even considered it as beef. It’s not beef. It’s just, Hey, I heard the record. I said what I had to say.”
KUDOS to Nick for standing his ground. For those who don’t like what he said, to each his own. I respect he’s man enough to stand by it and not b*tch up when confronted on it.

Nick did the right thing. Nothing is perfect, but he stood up for his family. You gotta look evil in the face and shut it down and that aint always pretty. Feminem is not a man for that kind of hateful, deceitful mess. Nick did right and it is time to move on.
Eminem seems so unhappy. The reason why he disses other people is because he has low self esteem and wants to make everybody feel as miserable as he is. That's why he doesn't have a girlfriend or should I say signifigant other. Is all this dissin' just an act? Do you think deep down inside he has feelings? Does he ever have anything happy or good to talk about? Em has little man syndrome. I've seen this problem on a daily basis. You would think with all the money he has it would bring him some kind of happiness. Or I forgot making other peoples lives miserable makes him happy. Do you think that Mariah really truly cares about what he thinks? If he's over her then why is he talking about her to make himself look better? I feel sorry for Haley and I hope she learns better lessons in life than he has. Sorry but that's just my opinion.
Am very proud of Nick. He is a real man. Only fools will agree with this taboi rapper(eminem) and so call fans (check CV=elementary school not completed) thought they crashed the site with thier little comment on Mtv.com ,which didnot let me post mine. They are all dummies just like him blc so many pple were commenting not only them.
Nick gave them hard pill and they are not over yet,its 2weeks ha ha. Even their master candy man = not man enough started chewing his mouth on the radio when asked as if who cares. Haters keep saying the same old recycle things about Nick,but he keeps laughing, bouncing and moving haha!!make way. And we love it. This is 2009 haters step up your game,what else can you say,we have heard them all haha!!!.
