A Tale of Blessings and Grace
July 1, 2009 3 CommentsIts been 2 years to the date…the day my life was changed. It was in 2007 the day before BET awards. I dropped Nick Cannon off from a long night of partying in Hollywood. He begged me to not drive home but being the stubborn person that I am, I said I’m fine. He knew that I was exhausted so he really didn’t want me to leave but I still had to grab my suit for the BET awards so I told him I’m fine and I’ll be alright.
So I was off, headed home driving tired like I’ve done many times, not knowing that this drive home was almost going to be my last one. The accident was on the 10 and 605 meet on the east bound side of the 10. Just say it was like you going 85 miles per hour into a parked car with no seat belt on. Long story short, I was bed ridden for 6 months, meaning I was confined to a bed where I did everything in that bed. It was a hard time for me but thank the LORD Nick Cannon who made sure my checks kept coming till I was ready to go back to work.
I know nothing but good things will happen for Nick Cannon only because his a God fearing person like my self. He didn’t have to pay me almost a whole year but he knew that it was the Godly thing to do. Well I’m here by the grace of God and I thank him everyday. God bless all of my family and friends that prayed for me when I was in the hospital.

I am more and more impressed with this young man. Nick just makes me smile. I admire a man who is not selfish and is caring and loves everyone–especially his wife and friends. This is the type of thing that should be discussed on blogs instead of the negative things that are written about Nick and Mariah and other celebrities.
I agree wwith Qtee64. Each day, I am more awakened to the fact that this couple is so faith and God-driven. I have no shame in admiring them and praying the best for them. We really do love the HaterZ, they provide free fuel for success
