The Teen Nick HALO Awards are set to premiere on Friday December 11, 2009 on Teen Nick. Hayden Panettiere, LeBron James, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys are confirmed to have participated in the Teen Nick HALO Awards. The HALO Awards is a new one-hour special that recognizes and awards real teens who are agents of change in their communities.
On Sunday November 1, Hayden Panettiere,and award recipient Megan Kilroy taped a segment for the HALO Awards. Panettiere spent the afternoon whale watching with 17-year-old Megan Kilroy, an environmental activist who is one of the four HALO award recipients.
