Nick talks marriage to Mariah with Gene & Julie

Nick stopped by to hang out with Gene and Julie while he was in Dallas last week.
He talked about how he & Mariah make their marriage work despite their hectic work schedules and constant travels.

Very nice interview. Its nice to hear an interview with a normal cool DJ. Respect is a good thing, more interviewers and bloggers could learn a thing or two.

I agree, that was a nice interview. Both had mutual respect for one another. Now, I would like to see Nick and Mariah interviewed together where the interviewer asks more questions like this guy. It would be nice to see them on a Barbara Walters, Dianne Sawyer, or an hour long Oprah Winfrey special where you get an inside look at their relationship and how they interact on a daily basis–you know have the cameras document their day as a couple and business people. I would even settle for Ebony, Jet or Essence magazines featuring them in their magazines/cover story. Come on now, it's going on 2 years, lol. Will and Jada, Mary J and Kendu have been on the covers. It all started with People magazine, time for a new cover story. What's up people? BlackLove what do you think or anyone else? All in fun.
I agree 100% Maybe even on Essence! I just saw an MTV Diary on the Bieber kid and you know MTV only brings that show back for special occasions so I would like to see that for them! I think it would be a good ratings booster like when Mariah was on CRIB'S! Nick is MTV's boy so i'm sure they might've been approached but might be taking the JayOnce(Jay and Bey) route!! lol Mariah, surprisingly has never had a MTV Diary. Nick and Mariah would know just how much to give, enough to make it entertaining and enlightening without the world knowing ALL their business or intimacies!! They have done a good job at that. They are trulu entertaining. I get tired of people like JayOnce acting like robots who think people don't know their married. They can be real without the whole world knowing too much. Mariah is Jay's girl so he should give her a call!! lol

Although I love Beyonce, I'm not that interested in her marriage to Jay. He irritates me the way he never helps her out of vehicles, down stairs, hold her hand while walking, walking too far ahead of her, etc. It's foolish like you said because the world knows they are married. Beyonce sports her heels like our girl Mariah, lol. She could use a little help too once in awhile. They don't have to tell their business–just act like a normal couple in public. Nick doesn't care that they call him Mariah's helper just because he is a gentleman and loves his wife and doesn't care who knows it. Like Aretha says "R-E-S-P-E-C-T!"
Yea that gets on my nerves how they try to emasculate him for doing normal things! And sad thing is black people on some of these blogs be the first ones to do it!! SMDH!! Jay and Bey rarely show affection, not even in the simplest form, and when they do it always looks force. However I do believe JayOnce have real love.
But yea and Interview with one of those mags done by a good journalist would be cool. Mixed in with some candid pics of them at the new crib in LA! The cover interview Mariah did with Essence a few years back was good but I want people to stay away from the "Mariah mixed race troubled child-hood" questions. That shit is old already! And so is the "Age Difference" between her and Nick questions. They need a good in-depth interview about black love and how they make it work in Hollywood. You don't see people asking Will and Jada dumb ass questions all the time. Hell even Tameeka and Usher had a Ebony interview that was good!
I totally agree. Nick is accomplishing a lot for a young man and I would think that one of our black magazines would focus on his work with children, being the youngest CEO of a network, hosting his own morning radio show or even the fact that Mariah is still in the game after 20 years. Perhaps an article on how they each finally found true love and as you said "are an example of black love." I am puzzled why none of the magazines I mentioned have yet to put them on the cover of their magazines.
I'm puzzeled a bit too!!! Maybe we will see a cover soon!!
It's sad that he does so much and it goes un-noticed bcus the media wants to downplay him and his success compared to his wifes'! I mean their is no man in the business or otherwise who's accomplishments would'nt get downplayed if they with Mariah. Her success is bar none. But that spanish dude she dated back in the day did'nt even get as much disrespect as Nick does and he did'nt do half as much as Nick. He has a lot of positive things going on but it never gets chronicled. Even if he got one of those covers alone that would be good maybe even better just so people don't think "it's bcus of Mariah"! LOL I like them,
