Nick Cannon Presents: Aaron Fresh, The School Gyrls, & the Wonder Broz

Yesterday, on the first day of my internship, I had the opportunity to check out some up and coming talent. Nick Cannon hosted a back to school concert featuring his artists under his Ncredible label: Aaron Fresh, The School Gyrls, and the Wonder Broz at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. Before yesterday I had NO clue of who these kids were. Plus we all know how it is for knew artists. When we hear a new name, we think “WHO?” After the concert, I was actually impressed. These are some talented young artists! I realized I’ve heard one of Aaron Fresh’s songs before. He has a song called “Spending All My Time”. I’ll post the video for the song up in the next post.

When the School Gyrls performed they impressed me with their energy and in sync dancing. I am really curious to their future being as though how hard it is to be in and maintain groups nowadays. I was informed that they had a movie that came out on Nickelodeon and have a new one coming out in November. The School Gyrls also have a Christmas album coming out. So either way they are doing their thing right now and putting in the work. I spoke with Mandy Rain and can actually say that these girls are genuinely sweet. Now let’s hope it stays that way.

After researching the group, I realized that two more girls were added to the group. Therefore, they aren’t in any of the pictures that I posted below.

I’m not going to lie…when I first heard someone say The Wonder Broz to me I responded in saying, “The Wonder WHO???”. I am a culprit. I SERIOUSLY thought they were trying to say Wonder Bra’s but was having a hard time pronouncing it. Turns out they were talking about the newest addition to Nick’s Ncredible label, The Wonder Broz. They appeared on stage fearless with incredible energy.

Looks like Nick Cannon has something good going. I’m sure everyone has been witnessing this Justin Bieber craze. When you captivate the young audience with good talent, that’s money alllllll day.
