Cory Gunz is going to be recognized worldwide. Known on the streets of Bronx, this talented rapper has a new show on MTV called ‘Son of a Gun.’ The series premiere of the show is April 28, but the exclusive sneak peek of ‘Son of a Gun’ was held in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend at the Reality Rocks convention. Showing the first episode and answering questions, the reality star was ready to share his story of wanting to be a top entertainer.

This was the only panel at Reality Rocks that had standing room only. Sitting next to the star was Peter Gunz and Nick Cannon, both well known in the entertainment business and both backing this young rapper. An executive from MTV was also on the panel, but those in the room wanted to hear from Cory after he’d seen the show for the first time, just like everyone else in the room.

“I really enjoyed it. It was dope,” said the rapper. According to Cory, who had been working the microphone nightly at concerts, he as well as his father Peter Gunz hadn’t seen it prior to the weekend showing so it was just as fresh for them as everyone else.

Currently on tour with Nicki Minaj and Drake, Cory Gunz is also getting ready for his new MTV show. A cross between Apprentice and Jersey Shore, this coming of age story is the real plight of a man working hard to make it in the music business. Don’t be mistaken though, this isn’t just another reality documentary that sells a brand; this is a real show with Bronx flavor and extraordinary passion not found in other shows.
