MTV2 Renews Nick Cannon’s ‘Wild ‘N Out’ 2

MTV2 has renewed “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out” and “Guy Code.” Both new seasons will air in 2015.

“With ‘Wild ‘N Out’ and ‘Guy Code’ we created a home where comedians could break through and define the voice of MTV2,” said Chris McCarthy, general manager of MTV2, mtvU and Logo TV. “Now with ‘MTV2’s Joking Off’ and ‘Number 2 News,’ we’re cultivating new playgrounds to discover rising talent – and build on the network’s historic ratings.”

MTV2 is also developing a talkshow pilot, “Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne,” starring “Guy Code” favorite Charlamagne tha God. “Daily Show” and “Colbert Report” vet Rich Korson will serve as showrunner for the show, which will feature a panel of comedians and social media-inspired packages reviewing subjects from the week.
