Nick Cannon to Direct Romantic Comedy “Three Little Words”

Nick is set once again to put on his feature directors hat.

Nick will direct the independent romantic comedy “Three Little Words,” with Mike Karz and William Bindley producing through their Gulfstream Pictures banner.

The Exchange acquired international rights for the project and will launch sales next week in Berlin.

“Three Little Words” is the story of a group of people dealing with various romantic relationships as they try to summon the courage to say those three simple words: “I love you.” Allison Burnett wrote the script.

“Three Little Words” is currently in pre-production and has a U.S. distribution deal in place, to be announced later.

Nick made his feature directorial debut last year with “School Dance” for Lionsgate .

Burnett wrote and directed “Ask Me Anything based on his novel “Undiscovered Gyrl.” His writing credits also include “Underworld: Awakening,” “Fame” and “Resurrecting The Champ.”
