Nick attended the 41st NAACP Image awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on February 26, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. He was accompanied by his lovely mother Beth. Mariah had a performance in Oakland, CA so she was unable to attend as well.
Nick was nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Children’s Program for the HALO Awards. He also presented alongside Taraji P. Henson the Image Awards for

Nickelodeon’s School Gyrls, had it’s orange carpet premiere at Six Flags Magic Mountain on February 15, 2010 in Valencia, California. The premiere was attended by a bevy of young talent such as Justin Bieber, Kristinia DeBarge, KeKe Palmer, Soulja Boy, New Boyz and of course the School Gyrls themselves.
Nick who wrote and directed the movie (it’s his movie directorial debut) had his mother Beth on the carpet with him. His wife Mariah, unfortunately had to miss the festivities due to her being on tour.

VH1, Pepsi and the NFL have joined forces once again to bring the worlds of football and music together with VH1’s “PEPSI SUPERBOWL FAN JAM.” Taking place on the beach in the host city of South Beach, FL, this year’s celebration will pay tribute to the All-American sport of football and its 44th Super Bowl, with performances by Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Timbaland with special guest Keri Hilson, among other special guest appearances. Nick Cannon and Nancy O’Dell are tapped to host the night’s festivities, which will not only include spectacular live performances but will feature many of the NFL’s biggest players in both humorous pre-taped interviews as well as live on stage. Mariah and Nick attended the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on January 23, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
The couple looked sazzling as Mariah sported a red satin one -shouldered gown with a bow accent on the shoulder and Nick sported a tux with a black tie accented by a diamond pin & red pocket square to compliment Mariah’s dress.
(So glad he didn’t wear a bow tie. I HATE THEM!)

I HOPE the New Year is going well for you, readers. I had an amazing festive period. I began my adventure this year by flying to LA just before Christmas to join my Christmas family, the Carey-Cannons.
We flew out of the hot LA weather from the private air field wearing t shirts. Then, four hours later, we pulled on our polo neck sweaters as we landed on the thick snowy runway of the Aspen air field, which is full of celeb and wealthy jet plane owners.
(Trust me, Aspen’s not for us regular folks, unless we can hitch a ride with a mate like I did!) At one point, I went out to a coffee shop and, no word of a lie, I walked past Paris Hilton, Zac Efron, Robert De Niro and Jack Nicholson on my way there! As if that wasn’t enough, when I got to the coffee shop, guess who was standing in front of me? None other than actress Goldie flippin Hawn! She asked the server for a choc chic cookie then started talking to me, before realisng that I wasn’t her sister who had walked off for a minute. ‘‘Oh no,’’ I insisted to her. “Don’t apologise – I love chit-chatting to Hollywood legends!’’ (more…)
